Ooey Gooey Slime! Posted:4/17/18

Updated: Apr 19, 2019

What's ooey, gooey, stretchy, and a favorite among LAS students? SLIME! Today we'll show you how to make this peculiar substance called slime.

Ingredients for slime:

You will need:

  • Glue White/clear, you name it! We used Elmer's Glue. To make it work, it has to be a PVA glue

  • Borax (just 2 pinches will work, if needed add more) or contact solution. Being on the safe side, we recommend contact solution.

  • If you are using borax, hot water will do.

  • Any additional things to make your slime yours. Such as beads, foam beads, colors, you name it!

  • A bowl

  • And a spoon. Plastic is preferred.

Steps:

  1. You want to get a bowl, and pour the glue in. You decide the measurements!

  2. Next, add the color in. (If you choose to).We recommend holding the beads or clay until after your slime is ready.

  3. Then, slowly start to pour and mix the activator in with your glue. If you used hot water and borax, mix them together before pouring it into the glue.

  4. watch your slime. If it starts to form and clean the bowl, you'll know it's ready.

  5. Use your hands! Knead the slime in your hands adding activator if needed.

  6. TADA! Your done!

  7. But, if you have any other stuff you want to add, go on and add it in!
